That sounds good untill they cap sport @ 6.10 like they did for PRO...

We have 3 rhinos in our camp. I imagine if we get the word out we could probably get a lot more people. There are plenty of them driving around the pit area. Grant would probably race his. Most of them have a lot of performance upgrades. It wouldn't be limited to just the rhinos, the golf carts/arctic cats/rangers etc., could join in too.

MOTORCYCLE POWERED CARS ARE RUNNING WITH THE CARS, NOW. SO ARE YOU GOING TO PUT M/C CARS BACK INTO THE BIKE CLASS(RHINOS ARE CLOSER TO A CAR THAN A BIKE)? DO YOU MAKE UP A NEW RHINO CLASS? MAC, San Jacinto is about full for anything else however there is a facility that will be on our schedule in a few weeks that could see this class in action. We can also add a rhino class when we have an all quad showdown. You asked about saftey regulations on the rhinos and that is something that the NSDA will look into if we do decide to do something like this. Remember we will listen to all requests and we will consider them all. It all depends if it is good for the program. Can we assure this class will happen next race, probably not but is it something we can look into, why not. You mentioned Jr.Dragster class we have created a Jr. Dragster class and only dragsters run in that class. I hope I answered your question about the Jr Dragsters if not give me a call.
On a side note Good luck to Jody and Chris who are up in Tucson racing on asphalt. They still don't understand that real racing is done on sand.

i'm not sure of all the details but i can say that we have been to events in the past that has had rhino races and it was a lot of fun. they were in a class of there own but if there are not a bunch of them wanting to enter then putting a class just for rhinos,ect. would not be worth it. that is why i thought they might be able to enter into the sm2 class. there would be no change in schedule just added entries in the class.
SWAG: if you want to call a rhino a car then thats fine what class would it fit into?

Chachy: I know that I can personally bring 5 rhinos, Only problem is thats at Soboba..most rhinos will run in the 7 second range, hope that helps.

i just got word that most of the rhinos at the planetsand races ran between 7 and 8 seconds. they did a bracket race so it was fair to everyone. i also got 1 more and maybe 4 others to race. so now were up to 9-12 entries. anyone eles?

| I have seen rhinos and other utv's race off road and they are fast. My concern would be safety. I have seen these things log roll 5 or 6 times just by getting a little twisted. It would be a fun addition just need to be safe. |
