| PRO MOD JEEP AND PRO JEEP are both the same vehicle, front engine, self starting,full body,suspension, no solid mount or funny car style,must have 2 seats, side by side swag boys!No weight limit or engine limit, only the tire, Sand tire Unlimited 20.00.Both classes are heads up.The PRO JEEP class will have an index of 3.95, this class is intended for the racer who wants to race heads up but not spend all the time and money it takes when you try to go faster and faster.I think I might know a little bit about that.The PRO MOD, I think will be very interesting to see how fast you can go on 20.00's.If you tried to have a class with cubic inches,or weight, or bottle or no bottle you would spend all day inspecting cars. I think if you give these classes a chance to see where they go they will turn out to be very popular. For 2007 these will be included in the Championship points chase. Keep it positive! HAMMERDOWN |

3.95 INDEX I LIKE THAT. 20.00 TIRES, NOT EVERYONE HAS A SET LAYING AROUND. BUT MOST JEEPERS HAVE SOME KIND OF MOLDED PADDLE TIRES.WHAT WOULD YOU THINK ABOUT SAYING NO VOLCANIZED PADDLES(HOOKERS,SCOOPERS, DIGGERS). THIS MAY GET MORE RACERS RUNNING THE CLASS. GREAT JOB DENNIS WE CAN ALL SEE YOUR OUT TO MAKE EVERYTHING BETTER FOR EVERONE. THANKS! WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A HARD TIME KEEPING UP WITH THE SMALL BLOCKS, BECAUSE OF OUR HEAVY BIG BLOCKS(WITHOUT OUR SCOOPERS).JUST TO BE CLEAR,ANY MOTOR,FUEL,& ASPIRATION.

| Black Tie, you know that is what this forum is all about, the first thought was because we did not want to have this ending up being a funny car class. If you look at Top Alcohol it started pretty big, now that it is gone to were it is, cars running 2.60's,2.50's, and now in the 2.40's,this is one example were the name fits(Top Dog),the car count has gone down, thank goodness for the top eliminator class, because not everybody wants to thrash all the time to be competive in a fast class, I think I know a little bit about that! So to answer the question I think there should be single seat jeeps in the PRO MOD class, the tire is still the limiting factor and suspension. And by the way, the term jeep, means a full body, it could be a toyota land cruiser or a ford bronco. It will be interesting to see how far the grey area gets pushed on this class. I wonder if we are going to need a competition commitee to keep this one in fair bounderies? HAMMERDOWN |

OK LETS TRY THIS A DIFFERENT WAY. HAMMER STATES THAT PRO JEEP WILL BE AN INDEX CLASS. AND THE RACERS DONT NEED TO SPEND ALOT OF MONEY TO RUN THIS CLASS. BUT IF YOU DONT OWN 20.00 TIRES YOU WILL NEED TO BUY THEM. COST GOES UP. SINCE THIS CLASS IS LIMITED BY AN INDEX, WHY NOT ANY JEEP TYPE CAR. NO OTHER REGS,BUT THE INDEX?
NOW IN PRO MOD JEEPS THE TIRES ARE THE ONLY REAL LIMIT. FOR THIS FIRST NON POINTS RACE WHY NOT SAY NO VOLCANIZED TIRES. THAT WAY YOU CAN CHECK OUT THE INTEREST FOR THIS CLASS. AND SOME OF THE RACERS WONT NEED TO BUY TIRES.
MARK MAKES A GOOD POINT WHAT ABOUT THE SLOW GUYS. LIKE MARK AND MYSELF. WHAT IS YOUR SLOW GUY CLASS MARK.
REMEMBER ALWAYS TRY TO USE THE KISS RULE, (KEEP IT SIMPLE SWAG I MEAN STUPID) WHEN MAKING UP NEW CLASSES.THIS MAKES IT EASIER TO POLICE.

| Yes, we are getting the jeep classes narowwed down, and remember that just means full body, I apologize to Bronco's, and LandCruisers, or camaro bodied cars for that jeep title. The wheelbase limit applies to the Pro Mod class and now the 20.00's as well. The index class, has the index as the limiter. Again I think that this forum is doing a great job of getting the issues out there. The goal is to make sure the Swag boys bring plenty of discs for their machine! | JUST AN IDEA- WHAT ABOUT A CLASS THAT YOU CAN DIAL TO THE NEAREST TENTH? I'M ALL FOR THE JEEP 2 SEAT CLASS BUT THERE ARE ALOT OF SINGLE SEATER CARS THAT WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A 2ND CLASS TO COMPETE IN.SOME OF US AREN'T INTO THE SPORT TREE SO A 2ND OPTION WOULD BE GREAT. LET'S FACE IT - 90% OF ALL THAT GO TO PRIMM ENTER 2 CLASSES SO THEY GET TO DO MORE RACING. THIS WOULD BE A BIT MORE INTERESTING HAVING A FULL TENTH TO WORK WITH, AND IF YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH CARS IN 4.30 YOU CAN STILL RUN THEM AGAINST THE 4.40 & 4.20 CARS. OR MAYBE 4.00, 4.25, 4.50 AND SO ON. NOW IF I CAN JUST GET SOME SUPPORT ON THIS! snakebite |

"BITE" I THINK YOUR CORRECT. A "JEEP" BRACKET CLASS WOULD BE GOOD. I HAVE TALKED TO THE T&A BOY AND HE THINKS THIS COULD BE THE BEST "JEEP" CLASS. THINK UP SOME RULES AND POST. ONE LAST THING ARE ALTERED CARS LEGAL FOR THE "JEEP" CLASSES

1) ANY BODIED CAR
2) ANY MOTOR,ASPRIATION,FUEL AND TIRES
3) BRACKETS TO THE TENTH
4) DRIVERS DIAL IN THEIR OWN CARS

| Hey Elvis, the whole Idea was to give the jeeps, full bodied, or altered cars a heads up class. Maybe if there is enough interest you could have a bracket jeep class instead of what we were going to call the Pro Jeep class, then there would be no limits at all because it is a bracket, the only limit is they would have to have a body,jeep, bronco, landcruiser, altered, something with a body.The whole idea with the body is to have a class where like vehicles are racing each other, right? Then you could have the Pro Mod Jeep class for those who still want to have a "heads up class".The limitations being the tire, suspension,self starting etc.Keep talking! The end result is to come up with classes that appeal to the majority and create some great racing. Hopefully this example will carry over and bring he Fast Fours back to a full field!!!!!!Keep Talking,singing,yoldeing,how would you describe the Beastey Boys?Is that screaming or yelling?HAMMERDOWN |

BRACKET RACING IS JUST FINE BUT WITH SINGLE ELIMINATIONS HALF THE FIELD GOES HOME AFTER THE 1ST ROUND. A PROPERLY RUN EVENT CAN GET A LARGE # OF CARS THROUGH IN A DAY. IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE SOMETHING ELSE TO DO OR LOOK FORWARD TO AT 10 AM AFTER THE 1ST ROUND AND GRUMPY JUST SENT YOU PACKING BESIDES THE DRIVE HOME. HOPEFULLY YOU WON'T DRAW HIM IN THE 1ST ROUND IN THE NEXT CLASS TOO.SB |

AFTER TALKING TO THE T&A RACING BOY. I THINK SNAKEBITE HAS A VERY GOOD POINT. THE SLOWER BODIED CARS, DRAGSTERS, & BUGGYS ARE FORCED TO RUN IN THE SPORT CLASSES,IF THEY WANT TO RUN ON SAT. I KNOW THAT GIVEN THE CHOICE,I WOULD RUN IN A PRO CLASS ON SAT. NEVER DID LIKE THE SPORT LIGHT. DONT GET ME WRONG THE SPORT CLASS IS NEEDED. JUST MY 5CENTS.
