First let me say congradts to all the winners at Primm and to the Points winners for 2009. I have been waiting until after the primm race to put up this post. Atoka Oklahoma memorial weekend 2010 Deb and Cecil wilson will be putting on our annual race. This year as before Dee and I will be supplying the big top tent, and free burgers Friday night, and Saturday night BBQ to the max. Both nights the food is free to all who attend. We will also have normal classes for all racers. However this year for the 2.95 class Dee and I will be putting up an additional 5 grand in prize money. Devided up this way $3500.00 first. 1000.00 for 2nd and 500.00 for third. This race is unique in that everybody who enters will race, there is no limit, like 8 or 16 cars. If 40 show 40 are in the race. There will be a time cut off at 3.25 if you are slower then 3.25 you will not qualify. This is only being done to keep the competition close.

SLOWEST CARS COULD GET THE FIRST ROUND BYE, NOW THATS SOMETHING SWAG IS GOOD AT (SLOWEST CAR) SOUNDS LIKE THAT RACE COULD BE FUN, I NEED TO PASS THE HAT AROUND TOWN AND SEE IF WE CAN SCARE UP SOME CASH FOR THE TRIP.

More on the racing ladder. If we get 24 cars we will break it up that first 6 race 3rd. 6 and 2nd. vs 4th 6. if we get 26 cars the slowest cars get the buys into the 2nd round. If we get 32 we will break it into 8. etc. Just trying to make it fair to all and a little different at the same time. Remember break outs in qualifying go to the bottom bracket but are not the slowest car.

Working in the TA payouts look for something to post at a layter date. Its only going to be garinteed payout if we get 12 Alky cars. So get out there and get commitments as to who is going to show up from the west, but also remember who says that will come and dont make it and the feild ends up at 5 or 6 cars and the payout is reducet to entry fee split or normal 1000.00 1st and 500.00 2nd.

Everybody will make the field as long as you are faster then 3.25, but if you are faster then 2.95 you go to the back of the pack, The way the feild is going to be set up this could be an advantage if you can slow it back down to 2.95 during eliminations.

Hey Rod, does this mean cars running faster than the index will not qualify? Or will they be pushed to the back of the qualifying field?

The bass boat is a Basscat not a Champion and YES it does HAUL ASS. I just ordered a new trailer this morning so I will be at a few races next year althought not a full season without some sponsorship help. Anyone interested in helping out can call me.

Thanks, that answers my question.I have been to Atoka twice and if any body wonders, this race is one of the best. Hope you have the catfish next year cause I'll be there.

Pro 1 cars can enter both classes if they want, if that is what you are asking. Anything is eligable to enter so long as it runs between 2.95 and 3.25 during qualifications. Tim the last couple years the weather has been wonderful. We will figur out some help of you if need be.

If the cutoff is 325 wouldn't that make the fastest cars in pro 1 elegable to be in this race.Pro 1 low is 310.
