JUST WANT TO TRY TO CLEAR SOMETHING UP ATOKA MOTORSPORTS PARK IS PLANNING ON RUNNING IN 2009 THEY TOLD US AT THE DRIVERS MEETING AT THAT TEST N TUNE IS LAST SATURDAY IN FEB. AND MONTHLY RACES THE 2ND SATURDAY MARCH - NOVEMBER I WAS TOLD THAT BECAUSE MY DAD AND I HAVE OUR CAR FOR SELL THE TRACK IS CLOSING THAT IS NOT TRUE. WE ARE SELLING BECAUSE I WANT TO I HAVE RACED FOR 15 YEARS. I HAVE OTHER THINGS THAT I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH. WE ARE NOT QUITTING BECAUSE CECIL & DEBBIE ARE SELLING THE TRACK OR QUITTING JUST WANTED TO STOP A RUMOR.

Closing? Aint even a possibility as long as they want to run the race. I would pay for the whole she bang if necessary. As a matter of fact, at this moment I am working on show up money for nitro burnnig T/F dragsters for the annual Memorial Day Race. Derrick I saw your car for sale assumed you were going Top Fuel Dragster, not home. LOL

OK guys here is the Deal Atoka Oklahoma is the place to be this Memorial Weekend. I am goig to sweeten the deal and pay $500.00 show up money to every top fuel team that makes the trip out and races with us Memorial Weekend. (top fuel means NITRO) I challange Houser to put up a nice purse for the top alky class. As usual we will be having burgers and dogs on friday night and saturday night its ribs and brisket with all the fixens both are free to all the recers and family. Call it the sand drag stimulas package... I will work on Cecil to let the fuelers start tuning on Thursday.... So come on, bring it boys.

atoka does have 2 new motels since the last time yall west coast drivers came to oklahoma atoka has 7 in atoka about 5-6 miles from track then durant 30 miles away coalgate has 2 25 miles would like for yall to come play with us this year everybody is welcome

Sorry was out red lighting in Pomona. Well Wilkerson was anyhow. Yes there are 7 motels in Atoka including a Best Western and the Highway INN. A couple of them are new last year. I dont think rooms will be a problem. If anybody needs a phone number let me know and I will get them for you.
