I voted for FLAT just to see how it works for my car...I think my car will be just a little faster but all I really want to do is get the wheels up so if flat will help then flat is my vote.....
I Don't Have to be the Fastest...I Just Have to be Faster Than You!!!

Just to keep in mind not all racers use this web. So there could also be a vote when the cars pull up in line for first time run. Thats when they prep the track anyhow and it could be told over the radios that wouldnt take anymore time. Or you can ask when they sign up for the class and you wil know by the time its time to run.

Mike I new you couldn't leave that alone. I should let Debbie drive it and show you fools how a jeep should be driven. But she doesn't like to hurt the male ego.

Lets just make the track flat and see if this issue comes up again, or if people even say anything again.

Sand drags, unlike asphalt drags, are designed to be run on uneven sand or dirt tracks. In building, preparing, or modifying your vehicle for sand drag racing, a competitor should keep in mind that NSDA will try to maintain a suitable racing surface. However, there may be holes at the starting line or in the track surface, ridges down the track, uneven surfaces and rocks or other debris on the track. These obstacles are not intended to make the race any more difficult, but are part of the sport. The NSDA will endeavor to remove all the problems before the race. It is up to the individual to determine if the conditions are unsafe for their vehicle. It is the option of the racer to race or not. If the track is deemed suitable and the racer chooses not to race he/she will loose that race, but will not be disqualified from further competition.
I feel this pretty much sums it all up. The NSDA along with any other organization does the best they can at each track to deal with different conditions. The NSDA,from what I've seen, does an excellant job putting cars down the track in a safe fashion. You can't exspect to run the same et from track to track. Heck, the big boys in NHRA don't.Weather conditions affect et along with alot of other factors. They have an excellant safety crew at each event that knows how to handle serious issues. What more could you ask for? I know.. Alot of ya are asking who's this guy? I'm a guy that will be amongst you racing soon. I've been at six races that the NSDA has put on,helping out my Northwest brothers, and, personally,I like what I see and how they run their operation. We are SAND DRAG racers. Right? Choose your lane and drive. It's an even field across the board. For the Pro cars/sport cars, get your dial in figured out and do the same thing the same way everytime. I don't mean to offend anyone,by any means by this post. Just a Pacific Northwester voicing his opinion on this. Hope to see ya'll in Primm!!!! |

Is the fluff track done in saving of time? As the box does not need to be run down the track again? Or 3-4 times again?
Heads Up Classes get boxed track... Bracket cars get fluff.... My car seems to run the same everywhere, but I prefer the box track... |
