On behalf of Plan B motorsports I would like to give a special thanks to Motorsports Safety Solution, NSDA and all of the fellow racers for all of your help and concerns for Nick and Gary in their horrible accident. Thank you all very much.

I also would like to personally thank the Motorsports Safety Solutions. When the car finally came to a stop and I got the motor shut off I looked up and there was Dave already there. This kind of deal is just a racing accident and is going to happen every once in a while and knowing you have a safety crew like them makes you not worry knowing if something like this happens you know you will be in the best hands.

On a side note after that happened I am a 100% believer in head pads and the hans device. I would suggest this for any of the faster cars out there.

All of us are humbled by the way the Sand Drag family treats us at every event. We hate to be used and would rather be spectators at every event but we sincerely appreciate that when something happens, you all put your faith in us to handle it and be there for you. My biggest joy in my life, is being allowed to help each and every one of you.

I am so thankful that while a lots of parts need replaced and new car needs to be built and a lot of wrenching will take place in the off season, that 2 people I consider true friends are safe and going to be able to race another day.

I am thankful also to the Mink family and the Janick family for their patience, understanding and trust. I know that your loved one means more to you than anything and I sincerely appreciate that you let me spend a few minutes with them before you got a chance to hold them. I know how hard that is for you not knowing and wanting to be there for them.

All I can say is AMEN!! Cars can be replaced,loved ones and friends cannot. I followed the twitter activity on nsdn and when I saw that there was an accident my heart fell through my shoes. A phone call later and I was at ease knowing Nick and Gary were out of their cars and ok. Racing accidents do happen and it is great to know that the Safety Crew that is at the track are profesionals and are very prepared to handle anything that may happen. A big Cudos' to you guys! Atleast we will be able to see great drivers and crews next year!!
