I thought we were going to work with other racing venues. Dumont Dunes has been doing Hill Climbs and racing for thiry years on Presidents weekend. I understand its a Jeep thing there but many of those racer support NSDA all year. How about a little return support.
Just my thoughts. I'll be at Dumont just like the last 20 years.

I UNERSTAND THAT LAST YEAR A LOWRIDER JEEP TOOK YOU OUT! NOW THAT WAS ON THE HILL AS WELL AS ON THE TRACK! LOWRIDER JEEPS RULE!

Any word on looking at maybe changing this date because of the conflict of interest with another race. I have been involved in the dumont jeep club jamboree for many years and a lot of the racers that race NSDA also race at dumont. Most of those racers look forward to this event every year. I have a issue with this because all my crew and wifes race at the jamboree. NSDA is there any possible way to work around this event. As Wes said this event has been going on for 30 plus years and has always been on Presidents Day.

JUST TOOK A LOOK AT OTHER DATES TO RACE IN FEB.
FEB.3RD IS SUPERBOWL, FEB.7-9 IS POMONA, FEB.22-24 IS THE FIREBIRD RACE. SO WHAT WEEKEND WOULD YOU MOVE IT TO? PLUS IM SURE IT NEEDS TO BE OKED WITH THE CASINO.

Hey swag I believe you are correct the schedule is so tight that month that was the only date really available plus the casino only has a few available dates for us to be racing out there, I know for a fact that this was not set to mess anyones weekend up but just the only available date to do the race... Hope to see most of you there I know we will all have a blast like always ..

| The September 19-21 race should be looked at too. That is the same weekend as the Sand Sports Super Show and Route 66 Rendezvous. |

We know that there are scheduling conflicts with other venues on certain weekends (particularly Presidents weekend). When the schedule is set, there is only a certain amount of options available as to when we can race. The major factor in deciding a race date, is the availability of the facility. Soboba Casino has many events at their location and change of schedule is not an option. We are at their mercy as to when race dates are available. No matter what weekend we hold a race, there will be a conflicting event that racers will need to choose wich venue to attend. Hopefully everyone understands our position.

Sand Drag racers watch football I hope my husband reads this because he thinks all sand drag racers only watch the speed channel

Jody, You're schedule that was posted in early Nov. showed Feb. 22-24 as the race date. That was OK with the Casino?

Well NSDA im sorry i can only Race on days that end in Y's
And i dont care about Sand Sport,Pomona,or NFL,NBA,MBA or Golf only NHL and i can Tivo.
Your either a racer or your not..........lol

The schedule that was posted in November was a tentative schedule. We put in a request for race dates to the casino. They go over the scheduling and get back to us. Apparently in this case there was a conflict on their schedule, therefore the change was made.
