brand new 10-20hrs. on them changed guide seals twice, the last time used darts favorite set right before NOV. race in avenal 2008, motor set for a couple days and pulled it apart to find out why i still have oil getting in the combustion chamber. set the heads on the bench and look down intake runner, on top of all the intake valves is a small puddle of oil. dart says intake rocker stud goes into intake runner, i looked and didnt see that, vaccum tested stud hole had no loss of vaccum. no milling has been done, never overheated. while i have the motor (SBC) apart im getting rid of the high volumne oil pump, because it is only a 7000rpm motor, 11.6 to 1 compression and COMP CAMS biggest torque cam for four wheel drives part# 12-243-3, not a wild motor. HHHHEEEELLLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE LOST DUCK P.S.THANKS

Hey there duckie boy! I found some 184 chevy heads at a yard sale for your motor. They only wanted $250.00 for the pair. No oil on the intake valves, but then the valves are not installed. Let me know an I'll get the phone # to you. They even have high performance black paint on them!

Hey there Duckie Boy! Have you tryed putting some radiator stop leak in your oil. That would stop the leakeage onto your intake valves. It works for radiators, why not on dart heads. Bow ties don't have this problem.

Hey there Duckie boy! Well did ya try the stop leak? You might try some of that thar engine restorer. It rebuilds your engine when you drive it. Purty neat stuff. Did ya ever find that axle you weare lookn fur? How did ya bend your axle? Drivers side or passenger side?
