YEA "PE" WE ARE RUNNING THE JEEP IN S.J. GOING TO DOME SAT. NIGHT FOR TESTING, NEED TO SLOW DOWN TO RUN THE 3.95 INDEX CLASS. DONT HAVE 200000000.00 TIRES

NO ADDING 100+ POUNDS WONT SLOW THE JEEEP DOWN TO 3.95. IF IT WOULD K.T. WOULD HAVE TOO RUN IN PRO2. CANT GET THE COOLER IN THE FRONT SEAT, BELTS TOGETHER SO KT CAN DRIVE.  MAYBE WE CAN PULL A TRAILER WITH THE TIRES OFF(SLOWS THE CAR DOWN AND CLEANS THE TRACK AT THE SAME TIME)!

| I like the sounds of this class. By us, the "pro mod truck" class was put together, now over 1/2 the field on any given weekend is single seat funny jeeps. Granted, most are suspended, but none are 2 seats. Maybe your class should be pro truck and pro mod truck and ours should be pro jeep, LOL. Pleas keep us midwest guys informed on how the class turnout is and how it goes. It also sounds like you guys need and index class, ie dial to the nearest .10 based on your qualifying times. Like so, Dennis runs a 4.68 and a 4.63 on his 2 qualifiers, he would be in at a 4.60 index, Swag runs a 3.99 and a 3.97, Swags in at a 3.90. It seems to make for some pretty close racing here, but I like the "outlaw" less rules is more idea with your "pro jeep" class too. |

HAMMER I SEE YOU HAVE THE JEEPS MAKING QUALIFYING RUNS ON SAT. HOW MANY QUALIFY (8-16-OR MORE)? IS IT THE QUICKEST? CAN YOU RUN QUICKER THAN THE INDEX & STILL QUALIFY?

Swag, The jeeps will qualify for 16 car ladder. If someone runs quicker than the index, they can still qualify. It will be closest to the index without going under. If 14 cars are slower than the index, the remaining two for the field will be made up of cars quicker than the index. Number 15 at a 3.94 will out qualify a 3.90 run (#16 qualifyer). Hope that makes sense!!
